Court Order Limits Local Gang’s Activity

In another blow to street gangs, prosecutors informed about 60 Anaheim gang members this week that they could face criminal charges for congregating within a 1.59 square mile area of the city, prosecutors said.

The order forbids the gang members from wearing gang attire, loitering and other acts covered by the civil gang injunction. Disobeying the order could result in misdemeanor charges.

The “safety zone” is the area north of Katella Avenue, west of Nutwood Street, south of Ball Road and east of Disneyland Drive.
